Stichtite & Serpentine

Stichtite is a carbonate of chromium and magnesium with a lovely pink a rich purple colour. It is formed as an alteration product of chromite containing serpentine.
 
We are selling selected hand-polished stones from South Africa. The photos were taken in bright sunlight to bring out their best colours.
