Unusual Fibrous Shattuckite with Cuprite & Malachite

Shattuckite is a rare secondary Copper silicate mineral. It was named after the mine where it was first discovered, the Shattuck Mine, Arizona, USA.

 

Beautiful blue fibrous acicular crystal Shattuckite specimens, some with Cuprite or Malachite, or both.

 

The photos were taken in bright sunlight to bring out their best colours.
